System: Server 2008R2 running SCCM 1610
Morning,
Recently I've been noticing errors with the software update point. I noticed that many of the windows patches deployments have started to error, further to this the Server Synchronization Web Service errors constantly.
Then finally the software update synchronisation failed. As this system patches all our servers and workstations i needed to fix it.
After two days of fiddling getting nowhere around i decided to uninsall the SUP, reinstall WSUS and then reinstall the SUP.
Now the SUP will not install correctly:
On 09/01/17 10:21:22, component SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER on computer xxxxx.CO.UK reported: Site Component Manager failed to install this component on this site system.
This error repeats over and over.
Any ideas?
