I am getting an issue where the current channel updates for office are failing to download to the client. The client gets an error 0x80070005(-2147024891) The content does not download to the client and immediately fails. I have ruled out permissions to the content location permissions and client issues because other updates in the same directory for the Semi-Annual Channel can be installed by the clients along with other updates. This happened with Office Current Channel Version 2111 last month and we had to run a PowerShell command to force the updates on the clients. Some people mentioned this was a WUSUS issue (link) but this would now be the second time this has happened in a row. Datatransferservice shows that the update downloaded successfully but the content does not show up in the cache folder.

Solution
So after reading some newer replies to the post I included the issue was resolved by restarting the clicktorunsvc service then retrying the update.
