SOLVED Upgrade to 2111 - Upgraded Clients can no longer be remoted controlled.

Hello,

We're experiencing an issue in our environment post 2111 install - Clients that upgraded to the latest version (5.00.9068.1008) cannot be remote controlled. Clients that did not upgrade (5.00.9058.1047) work fine and will connect.

Below is a sample of a log from a client I tried to connect to... Any help would be greatly appreciated

The other thread on this issue pointed out that if you copy c:\Windows\CCM\RemCtrl\SccmRdpUser.exe from a system with a not updated client to one with a new client, the issue is resolved.
In my case:
The bad version of SccmRdpUser.exe is 5.00.9068.1004, dated 11/23/2021
A good version of SccmRdpUser.exe is 5.00.8605.1000, dated 8/12/2021

We're still testing, but so far so good.

Thank you for sharing this so quickly. Right when you sent this I checked for updates in my console and installed. I have tested and it's working as expected again. I appreciate it!
