Hi All,
I am very new to SCCM can you please help me understand how SCCM removes old data from the SQL DB.
1. How long is the data retained in SQL database. For example if we disable deletion of any old data from the site maintenance tab how long is the data retained on the SQL server. This is because we have to retain 5 years old information.
2. Is there a particular field SCCM looks at and then purges the data.
3. Also I have read that we can use data ware house to retain data which is 3 years old. Is there a way to increase this retention policy.
