Lately, I’ve noticed that packages are no longer arriving at our Distribution Point (DP). The content status remains yellow (In Progress). The strange part is that I am not seeing any errors in distmgr.log or pkgXfermgr.log.

This has been happening for days now. I just tested it with a 50 MB Dell BIOS update; the logs indicate that everything completed successfully, yet the status remains "In Progress." This is occurring with multiple packages.

I also noticed that this same BIOS update does not appear in Software Center, even though it is correctly deployed to a collection that includes the DP. Additionally, I tried running a working script from the SCCM server to uninstall an application (Outlook), and this also failed.

It seems like there is a communication issue somewhere, but a connection test (Test-NetConnection -Port 80 / 443) to the DP is successful.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

Only errors I see in logs are:

Pulldp.log

PullDPQueryResult() failed to execute WMI Query SELECT * FROM SMS_PullDPState WHERE PackageID='A01001FE' AND PackageVersion='129'. error = 80004005 Unspecified error

pkgxferMgr.log

Failed to get package properties
PullDP cancellation failed. Failure count = 2/30, Restart time = 9-2-2026 15:07:44 +0100
