SOLVED SCCM Noob needs assistance

Good day all,

I am a relative SCCM noob and I am in the process of creating a SCCM home lab of which the specs are below;

1 4 core 16 gb ram server running 2012 r2 (to be the same as at work) called GagaSccm, domain joined, static IP, IIS installed, DHCP installed and configured
SQL Server Standard 2017 installed with an instance called GagaSccm
Installed SCCM 1802 and updated to 1810 (same version as at work)
Imported 2 windows images Win 10 Pro and Server 2016
ADK and Win Pe installed
2 task sequences created and deployed to "All unknown computers"

So here is my problem;

When I try to PXE boot, I get to the SCCm page and I select my task sequence only to get the error below;



I tried troubleshooting the DP (single DP) and I see the following;



Can someone please suggest a fix which does not rely on reinstalling everything?

I cannot read the distmgr.log file.

Windows 10 1903 is not supported by SCCM 1802, you have to upgrade to 1902 or 1906.

Any task sequence will not work on this server and will give the same error. Did you unzip the log file?

You have an issue with your DP:



Make sure that the IIS 6 WMI Compatibility is installed on your Site Server and the Site Server account is member of local administrators group:

@Youssef Saad , I just installed this feature with the IIS, which is on the same server as the sccm, where do I find the setting for the local site server account?

I suggest to you to uninstall the Distribution point and reinstall it correctly following the above Step-By-Step guide.

Hi all,

I decided to reinstall everything from scratch and NOT TO ignore the warnings during pre requisite check. I mistakingly thought that the warnings were optional and that if you did not have any "Failed" you would be OK. I was wrong!! I now can get the task sequence to start but I have the error as shown below. So I gusee I am moving forward!!!

@harveybham are the logs located on the target machine or on the sccm DP? I looked around and could not find anything matching your screen capture.

you will find them on the target machine. You need to press F8 and navigate to the location i sent you.
If F8 does not work then on sccm go your boot Image on sccm and right click and click on customization, tick the box that says enable command support

@harveybham , I enabled f8 and here is the dir of x:\ there is no mention of the folder or directory you refer to.
