PENDING MDT integration still working in SCCM 2509?

Hi, we are using MDT integration in our Task Sequences in 2503, I want to upgrade to 2509 but the MDT deprecation information is unclear.

There is no information about MDT in the release notes nor prereq check for the 2509 update, but this page about Deprecated features mention MDT integration with CM is no longer supported after the first update after octobober 10, and technically SCCM 2509 that was just released is the first version after this date, however that information was published in april when the plan was for 2509 to be released in september, so the first version after october 10 was probably ment to be 2603.

Have anyone tested and can confirm if MDT integration with Task Sequences still function in SCCM 2509?

The link that you shared clearly mentions, "The MDT Integration with CM and Standalone is no longer supported with Configuration Manager. Customers should remove MDT TS steps, followed by removing MDT integration, to avoid TS corruption and modification failures." You can upgrade to version 2509, but you cannot edit the task sequence steps that uses MDT.

Also, the MDT deprecation/end of support is set to first release after Oct 10, 2025 which is version 2609. So my suggestion is stop using MDT.
