SOLVED Distribution Manager failed to access the source directory

Hi, Mr. Desai, iam getting the error Distribution manager failed to access the source directory in both scenarios while iam patching and deploying applications to the clients same error for both, please find the snapshots of log file and error. I appreciate your help in this regard, thank you.

The source directory doesn't exist or the 'Configuration Manager' service cannot access it, Win32 last error = 340 SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER - Can you check if Remote differential compression is installed ?.

No its not installed, other day I had installed remote access and selected all three DA and vpn, Routing and web application proxy, after installing this all the clients Remote desktops connections were not working. si iam little bit cautious about this.

As per the screenshot I hope you have verified the free space on the DP. Is this an issue on a remote DP or DP + MP running on same server ?. Could you try installing RDC and check if the content gets transferred ?.

You need not install any features. When you initiate the DP role install, the required features are installed automatically. if you want to install remote differential compression, check this post - https://prajwaldesai.com/installing-prerequisites-for-configuration-manager-2012-r2/

Yes I already inatalled the rdc features it's working now, but when iam deploying windows update packages I can't see any updates are installed in client machines. Please help

talking about your first question, are you able to deploy Adobe app ?. Is that issue resolved ?.

Yes iam able to deploy adobe app and the previous error has been cleared source directory cannot access everything is fine except iam unable to deploy windows update patches, iam doing everything right but I can't see any update in client machines.
