PENDING Block/Blacklist software installation using SCCM

Hello,

We are deploying SCCM in our environment which is currently in the implementation phase.
One of the requirements is that we should be able to control what software the user is able to install.
Can we blacklist certain software and prevent them from being installed by the users, even if they have admin rights on the machines?

Hi Gaurish, here are some suggestions.

1) You can use Software Restriction Policies to Protect Against Unauthorized Software - Link
2) You can package the required apps in SCCM, make them available in Software Center and remove the users from Administrators group. They can still install the apps from software center.
