PENDING Dynamic Membership Rules for certain Device Models in a particular Device Category

Hello,

I have created a security group in Intune, and I want to implement a dynamic rule for devices. My goal is to filter specific models of devices, but only those that belong to a certain device category. I have successfully created a rule for the device models using the rule builder, as attached to this post. However, I am struggling to set up a rule that only includes those models from within the specified device category, rather than applying to all devices in Intune.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Device Model is working, but it struggles to focus on a specific Device Category, as it is populating all devices listed in Intune.

Where have you used the device category in the rule?. Or you're looking to include the device category in the rule i guess.

I'm looking to implement this rule in the group, but I'm struggling to understand it. I see that there is a deviceCategory property, but I don't know which operator option to choose.

I would like to mention that I tried adding the deviceCategory as shown below. I used the "In" operator, but when I typed the value for the named device category, it indicated that it was an invalid value. I'm not sure if I've chosen the correct operator.

Hy, could you post a screenshot of the Validate Rules near Configuration Rules, what comes up?
Have you tried going with the “and” operator instead, or maybe a device filter?
