Hello All,

I'm not very versed in this, so please bare with me. I've been asked by our data security folks to provide a list of all extensions, from all browsers in the environment. One table I've found some info in is v_GS_BROWSER_HELPER_OBJECT, but from what I've read, this only provides information from IE. "Browser Helper Object - Asset Intelligence (SMS_BrowserHelperObject) is enabled in hardware inventory, however, I'm not sure what this exactly entails and/or where the data is coming from. I need to take inventory of all browser extensions from IE, Chrome, Firefox and Edge. I'm guessing that Edge would use Chrome extensions while using the Chromium engine and other browsers (e.g. Firefox) will need to be added to the .mof.

Is there a way to take inventory of all of these and delineate which browser has which extension installed, then build a report based on this info?

Thank you in advance!

Mike

Thank you Prajwal. I'm doing a TAP update tomorrow and will be on with our rep. We're also going to ask is Microsoft has plans to include this ability natively in MEMCM :)

They will not add this for other browsers (or should I say seriously doubt it). However I am creating an add-on to Enhansoft Reporting to do exactly this. You can track how far I have gotten by subscribing to our ideas page. https://ideas.enhansoft.com/ideas/E-I-149 currently finishing up ODBC inventory for users and computers.

I've been following since our last chat Garth. Thank you again very, very much! Definitely looking forward to this :)

Sorry to bump this thread but would be amazing to know if you ever finished creating this report, @Garth ? Thank you!
So Enhansoft Reporting is now part of the Recast Family as Endpoint Insights. https://www.recastsoftware.com/endpoint-insights/

I did "complete it" and it is "planned" to be added to Endpoint Insight. If you are a Recast Customer, have you CSM contact me and I will see about getting you a preview.

Thank you Garth, what is the best way to contact you directly for this request and I'll have our CSM reach out?

Awesome, thank you very much! I voted for it :). Appreciate the work you do on these reports, they are fantastic. I reached out to our CSM.
