Hello,

I'm trying to update Windows 10 v1909 PCs with the Windows 10 20H2 feature update but I can't et it to show up in the SC after downloading and deploying it?

Which logs can I look at ? I don't believe I can use an enablement package for it.... I ma be wrong.

you are right, to upgrade 1909 to 20H2 you need a feature update.

  • Feature Update to Windows 10 Version 20H2 x64-based systems 2020-10 via Enablement Package – Install this update to enable the Windows 10 Version 20H2 feature set for Windows 10 Version 2004 devices. It is only applicable to Windows 10 Version 2004 devices that have installed the 2020-10 or later Cumulative Update. After you install the KB4562830 update, you will have to restart your computer.
  • Feature update to Windows 10 (business/consumer editions), version 20H2 – Deploy this update using ConfigMgr to upgrade your Windows 10 1909 and earlier builds to version 20H2.
May I know how are you deploying the FU to 20H2 ?. Task sequence or Servicing Plan or manually ?

Hi Prajwal,

I downloaded the update VIA Windows 10 servicing and I have a Software Update Group and deploying it to a collection that has some test Windows 10 1909 PCs.

Hi Prajwal,

I'm unable to deploy 20H2 feature update to the software center as available or to the Pc as required.

I get the following error in UpdatesDeployment.log which states "GetUpdateInfo - failed to get targeted update, error = 0x87d00215."

Could this be a boundary issue? I'm able to get regular windows updates just fine. I've downloaded the feature update package 3 times but same results.

I don't see any errors in those log files. Did you delete the old logs ?.
In the UpdatesDeployment.log i see below:
