Hello Everyone,

I created an OSD task sequence for the inplace upgrade from Win 10 1709 to 1803. The task ran for 300 users and some of the machines were hanging with the upgrade process for a long time hence the users restarted the computer. The interuption left the folder _SmsTsWinPE Under c Drive. I couldnt delete the folder as administrator.
If I continue the task, it fails again.

Anybody experienced this type of issue before?

Your suggestion is highly appreciated.

Regards,

Kumar

If the folder remains on C drive, then your TS is failing somewhere. If you have healthy client after deployment, check this report: Task Sequence - Deployment Status > History of a task sequence deployment on a computer. It will show you where your deployment returns error code.
