PENDING User app deployment error-There was a problem retrieving the software from the application catalog

Hi- I just upgraded SCCM to latest hotfix for 2010 - Trying to do Application to a user group.. If click to install inside software center it quickly gets error failed. The message is
There was a problem retrieving the software from the application catalog. Not sure why this application for a user group is suddenly getting this message. The application Catalog has been gone for sometime now..Is there a setting that might have gotten changed somewhere? Thanks for any help....

I have never come across this issue with SCCM 2010. Have you upgraded the clients to latest version ?.

Thanks. That was it. The machine I was working on had an older client install.
