1. Support for Android XR devices
Microsoft Intune now enables the management of Android XR devices through Android Enterprise's dedicated and fully managed enrollment modes. Administrators can seamlessly enroll Android XR devices, deploy applications via managed Google Play, and enforce essential security and compliance policies. These devices are integrated into the Intune admin center, allowing for streamlined management alongside other Android devices.2. New TeamViewer connector experience in Microsoft Intune
Microsoft Intune now features an updated TeamViewer integration designed to simplify onboarding and enhance the reliability of remote assistance workflows. This new connector replaces the previous TeamViewer experience, offering a more streamlined and efficient interface within the Intune admin center. Users relying on the older connector must transition to the new version within 12 months to ensure uninterrupted functionality.3. New reporting considerations for compliance policies
Starting in Intune service release 2604, Microsoft has updated the Intune compliance policy reporting documentation with new guidance to clarify how device compliance results are displayed in Intune reports. This update provides clearer insights into reporting behavior, including device check-in timing and user association, enabling you to better understand and interpret compliance policy reports.4. Autopatch update risk visibility report
Starting with Intune 2604 release, Autopatch Update Risk Visibility Report has been introduced which enhances the Security Update Status Dashboard by providing detailed insights into patch compliance and risk across your managed devices. It categorizes devices as Current, Exposed, or Critical, while pinpointing policies that contribute to risk, enabling quicker identification and resolution of issues.5. Support for Ubuntu 26.04 LTS
Microsoft Intune now supports Ubuntu 26.04 LTS. Support for Ubuntu 22.04 LTS ends in August 2026. Devices already enrolled on Ubuntu 22.04 remain enrolled, but you should notify users to upgrade to a supported Ubuntu version. You can identify devices running Ubuntu 22.04 in the Intune admin center by going to Devices > All devices, filtering by Linux, and adding the OS version column.
