I have created a test environment at my work to deploy Windows 10 1903 over an "Upgrade an OS" with a task sequence. I have been able to successfully run this task sequence on 4 different 1803 machines. However, today I had two 1709 machines that it refused to run on.
Here is how I have it set up:
The task sequence shows the upgrade package as available to install. I would add the identified 1709 machine to the designated device collection I have made for updating to 1903 and perform a policy sync for the available upgrade to 1903 to populate.
The two 1709 machines would not pull the available operating system from the SCCM server. What log file should I look at in this case? Or is there a known problem with upgrading from 1709 to 1903? Thanks
