I'm completely new to the SCCM side, and we've decided to stand up a SCCM server to assist in application and imaging deployment.

We've deployed a fairly simple SCCM server, CM 2012 R2, SP1 as a single site, DP, and MP
Separate SQL server running on 2012.

We've configured our boundaries based on our different subnets ranges, and assigned those to the single Boundary group.
Discovery method assigned to AD forest and system discovery.

Deployment of the SCCM client to the majority of our machines is working well. 80+% deployment success. However; here's where it starts to go wrong.

I've followed the majority of walkthroughs online to setup client application deployment. (both user & device) But cannot get a successful deployment to EITHER.
Since I'm new, I'm not exactly sure what a majority of errors mean, nor exactly what I'm looking for to confirm that something is working successfully on the client level.

We're not seeing any errors on the "site status" except the software update point, which we've not deployed/configured yet. (as our patches are being deployed right now through a separate 3rd party app.)

I'm unable to get any of the machines assigned to a collection to actual GET the application deployed. They're showing up as "unknown" within the status.
Can you assist me trying to find out WHY.
When I look into the Software Center on the clients, it's not pulling the "client configuration" details that are identified on the SCCM console.
