PENDING Status critical component status corruption or invalid user definition

hello all,

under component status, I see SMS_MP_CONTROL_MANAGER STATUS CRITICAL. what steps do i need to perform to clear this?

Hi,

On the site server, go to "SCCM Install Directory\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Logs" and check the mpcontrol.log log file, you can read it with Cmtrace tool located on "SCCM Install Directory\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Tools".

Also you can right click the component and look for errors.

there are no error messages, but I see many warnings
MP has discarded a report when processing the relay: corruption or invalid user definition
Possible cause

Can you upload the screenshot of the complete warnings?. If your MP is working fine, you need not worry much.

What is the version of SCCM and can you also check mp_relay.log ?.

sccm version 1802 and there are no errors in mp_relay.log
