I have installed SCCM and have the reporting role enabled. I can run reports from within SCCM but I am constantly being prompted for username and passwords when I try to access the reports from the reports manager URL. when I log into the web URL with my username and password, I am not able to run any reports, I am sure that it is a Database permissions issue, but I am not sure where to look.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated

Are you using the same username for the console as the reports?
When you say you can't run the report what does this mean?
There are no direct DB permissions that need to be edited to make it work.

HI Garth, thanks for responding.

I log onto the SCCM server with my domain user name and then open the SCCM console, I have created a service account that has an SPN record associated with it and use the service account to connect to the SSRS database and run the reports.

I have attached a file that goes into a bit more detail

I'm confused. Based on what you have said in the image everything is ok for you. So exact what problem is you trying to solve?

The issue is I have never been prompted for user credentials on any other SSRS setup before. I would click on the link and t would let me in.

ok, that is likely an IE setting. Have you checked to see if that server is within your intarnet zone within IE?

Hi Garth, I fixed the problem... the system needed an SPN record in the following format to make it work.

setspn -A HTTP/servername.domain.local ServiceAccountName
