PENDING sccm hardware inventory external monitor

Hi all,

my team as me a question about sccm and external monitor.
It's possible to detect the external monitor during an hardware inventory ?
I have found in resource explorer that some external monitor were detected under System Devices, but the majority of my pc dosen't have this information.
I have a lot of doubt about this can be happen....
Can somone help me, please ?

You will need 3rd party tools for this. Without 3rd party tools there is no reliable way to do this.
Start by defining EXACTLY what you want to know about each monitor, this will help you understand what needs to be collected.

Could you suggest me a couple of tools, in my case i need to know the model and the serial number of the external monitor.
My installation of MECM is current branch v. 2107
