Hi all, we had an issue with the SCCM server in that we ran an update but then all the clients dropped off.

We did a restore, all clients now connected and working, no errors. But! When you load SCCM, it thinks its applied the update and keeps prompting to update the console.

Our separate SQL server must think its on the new version. Any ideas how I can correct it?

Thanks.

They are VMs, we tried using our restore software on the SCCM server (Redstore) plus also snapshots.
The restore has caused this problem. But I don't understand one thing, if the client were offline post the update, why did you restore the entire configmgr data? You could have analysed the logs and tried resolving the issue instead.

We had this before, we applied an SCCM update, errors in the logs. We spent days on it but got nowhere. We restored and it was fine. Had to do the same thing here, but cos the console needs updating, we keep getting the prompt. I go to the updates folder and it thinks its fully up to date. So I think something in the SQL server has recorded the update. Tomorrow we might try a restore of SQL unless there is a better idea??

Sure. Its running 2509
5.2503.1083.100
Site version 5.0.9141.100

We ran
5.00.9141.100

If I go to about it shows the latest, but I can't update the console and the SCCM server was restored.
