Hi,

I have a bit of an issue as this has happened previously and I reinstalled config manager again. Now this has started happening again. I'm sure there is a easy fix.

If you look at the attached Image, I have folders created in which I have placed my collections.
Applications folder has the install application collections
Applications - Uninstall has the uninstall collections
Operating Systems folder has all the Operation Systems Collections.
In this example When I clicked on Applications - Uninstall folder I see all

This is a bit annoying. Can this be fixed?
If so how?

Please help.

Thank you

I guess some one had moved the default collections from Root to the folder. You could right click the collection > click on Move and move it to Root. Once you do that all those collections will be shown when you click Device Collections.

Hi Prajwal,

Thank You for your quick reply.

The collections are in the correct folders and haven't been moved.

It's a bit odd why this is happening. If I click out of it and click on the folder again it displays all the correct collections residing in the folder.

And at times it doesn't at all. See below screenshots.

Example 1: I clicked on the applications folder and all my collections are showing (Though they haven't been moved)

example 1.PNG

Example 2:
I clicked out of it and clicked on the Applications folder again and as you can see it's displaying the correct collections.

This keeps happening and at times it doesn't display correctly at all even after closing the Conf MGR Console and opening it back up and or restarting the server.

That's shouldn't be the case. After moving the collections to root, could you close the console and try again ?. The second screenshot above seems to be okay.

Hello, I have this exact problem, but I'm running current branch. it's random, as ikkhatri is experiencing. Is there a cache (like the old console's mmc cache?) that can be cleared?

Hello,
I just had this same issue occur. I noticed it after applying Windows updates on the primary site server running SCCM 1706.
It is interesting as I can click refresh while the folder of the collections. Sometimes it will show the correct collections in the folder and other times it will show all collections.
