Hi,
I have set up SCCM a number of times now - and never had this kind of issue before.
Brand new SCCM install.
I can boot via PXE and name the computer.
When it gets to the stage for "Setup Windows and Configuration Manager" it copies the files, displays briefly that it is "Downloading files"... The restarts and the installation halts / task sequence ends. It skips ALL the subsequent steps in the task sequence.
If I insert a restart command it has the same effect. It always restarts and goes to the login screen, rather than continuing the next task sequence steps.
In the CCMSetup\Logs folder, the last error message is "Code 6" running CCMSetup.EXE, but I can find very little info on what that means.
Does anyone have any suggestions??
Thanks.

Ccmsetup error code 6 usually indicates a problem with the .NET Framework 4.5.2, a prerequisite for the Configuration Manager client agent. This error often arises during client installation or upgrade when the .NET Framework needs to be installed or updated and may require a reboot. Do you see any other errors that can help troubleshoot this issue further?

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion. The TS has rebooted to the deployed Windows 11 when CCM is being installed. I had thought Windows 11 24H2 already contained .NET Framework 4.5.2 by default??
I have attached CCMSetup.log for you in case it sheds any further light onto this.
Thanks very much for your help.

Some additional information.
I just noticed that the Client Version in the new SCCM install seems to be older than the servers I am running elsewhere that are working.
This might well be part of the problem. The version in CD.Latest does not appear to be the correct one!
I have copied the Client from a working server - but unsure if just copying it to the new server is sufficient. I can try that and if no good, I'll roll back to a virtual checkpoint.
Thanks.

The client version installed should be the latest. If not go to Site hierarchy settings and under the client upgrade tab, check the client version.
