Setting up OSD on an SCCM Current Branch server. I'm very new to SCCM...

We have 1 Primary Site server and 4 Secondary Site servers. We will deploy OS's via the Primary Site only.

When I first began, there were no Boot Images in Software Library / Operating Systems / Boot Images or in folder location C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\OSD\boot (x64 & i386). I could not locate these images on the installation media either. Using this resource, I was able to recreate both boot images and successfully imported them into SCCM.

Using Prajwaldesai's guide, I complete the configuration (added the OS image, built the Task Sequence, etc.).

Now I'm attempting to get a Hyper-V client to connect and install the Windows 10 image.

When I boot the computer, I get the errors shown in the attached 'PXE Error Screenshots.pdf'. Also attached is a the SMSPXE.log for one attempt.

Not sure how to troubleshoot this. Any assistance is appreciated!

Thanks all.

Thanks for the reply Douglas. Hope I provide the correct responses :)

The boot files are both named boot.wim and are located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\OSD\boot (x64, i386). I did NOT use wdsnbp.com at all. Where would I apply that?

Thank you for the assistance.

I've corrected the issue. Test clients (VM's) are now getting the TS and the OS is being deployed.

I suspected the Boot Image to be the issue since PXE would answer but abort. I used the Update Distribution Points Wizard and checked the box 'Reload this boot image with the current Windows PE version from the Windows ADK'. That seemed to do the trick.

Thanks again!
