Hello...
I am stepping into an enterprise environment where SCCM was abandoned. I have reviewed as much settings as I could to familiarize myself with the setup. Basically workstation updates are working fine but the servers were left to fend for themselves.
I am attempting to test using GPO to push the client install to servers based on OU membership. I used the setup document for GPO off of this website but the client fails with the following message
"Setup was not luached from CcmSetup.exe. Please run CcmSetup.exe to install ConfigMgr Client."
I did attempt to use the following from the instructions but I have since read that you cannot deploy using the msi file.
I'm a little confused because when I attempt to use the msi file manually I get the same issue. Since I cannot use the exe file to create the software package perhaps it's my file that is incorrect. My msi file size is 34MB
