Hi All,
I have integrated SCCM with Active Directory successfully.

For Application Installation , i have created Install Collection and a install group in AD. So whenever we get a Deployment request, we add device name to group in Active Directory and SCCM Install Collection will sync with AD group . Then Software installation will occur automatically.

For UN-Installation process, i have created un-install group in AD and Un-Install collection in SCCM. Whenever we get a Un-Installation request, we add device name to un-install group in Active Directory and SCCM UN-Install Collection will sync with AD group . Kindly advise if this is correct approach or any other better approach available for un-installation process? Thanks in Advance.

Regards,
Manoj Nagarajan.

Are you applying any policies over the AD groups ?. You can only use SCCM to create collections for app installs and uninstalls.

It may conflict if you have same devices on both deployment groups(install& uninstall in SCCM or AD).
At one moment same device will add to install group and after some time the same device may added to uninstall group, because of this, the application will try install as per install group in AD and the same will try to uninstall when adds to uninstall group in AD .

Better you try from SCCM console only by creating 2 deployments of install and uninstall, then add same device in both deployments with a gap of some time. Then you can observe the error message in monitoring section of deployments.
