Hi there,

first of all, thanks for your great guide on how to set up SCCM.

We're currently having an issue where the installed cumulative updates won't change the site version number. The console version number is changing after the updates.

All 3 CU are shown in the registry.

Does anyone have an idea on this?

Thanks in advance!

Could you tell me what is the version number that you see currenttly ?. And also what CU's have you installed.

Ah, I see. Thanks a lot.
Are there any updates left after CU3 that I should install? I reckon seeing anything with built version 1607, that enables automatic client updates in the cloud settings.

There are no CU's available after CU3. Probably its the time to upgrade to next higher version. You can now upgrade 2012 R2 SP1 to 1606 version directly.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
Do I have to wait until all of our clients are updated? We're having about 800 clients and our networks are under a bit of a load as soon as we deploy the updates.
Or can I go to version 1606 and deploy the client updates afterwards? Including the CU client updates...

You can upgrade to 1606 directly. Just use the client upgrade feature and it will do the client upgrade.

I activated the check box, thank you.

I'm not entirely sure how to upgrade to 1606 - regarding to the web, I should have a "Update and sericing" entry in the administration panel:

I can't see this entry in my list. Sorry for bothering you that much, we're really new to SCCM ;-)
