NEW SCCM 1702 client issues when trying to do windows update

We have a simple set up. 1 Primary site server, 1 DP. I deployed updates to like 40 machines on various subnets while 35 successfully got installed while 5 remains in unknown state while checking on monitoring status. Hence the logs indicate the below. No idea what it means hence I google'd and followed a few ways but none help me fix.
