Hello,

I would like to be able to set up automatic OS deployments using WOL. I've found that when the deployment window is reached the machine will turn on but sit at the Ctrl Alt Del screen and nothing will happen.

I have tested the deployment and when the machine is turned on and logged in the OSD works.

Could anyone give me some guidance in what I need to do to get this working?

I need the machines to wake up, boot to PXE and run the OS task sequence all automatically.

Thanks

I believe you have enabled Wake on LAN on server side. I want you to check if Wake on LAN is enabled in the system BIOS. You may see different terminologies for WOL depending on the manufacturer (e.g. Remote Wake-up, Wake on LAN, Wake on PCI card etc.)

Hi Prajwal, thanks for the reply.

The wake on Lan side of things is working. I just need the OSD to deploy automatically. Currently the PC wakes up and boots to windows. And without logging into the machine the task sequence never runs. I guess i need it to be able to automatically wake up, boot to PXE and run the task sequence automatically.

Thanks

I presume you've set the boot sequence on the client so the Network will be the first in the boot list !?
