Hi Prajwal Desai,

We have several older versions of Office on different machines. I want to make sure that we uninstall all the older versions and reinstall the current version as per Microsoft Update channel using Intune. I went to office deployment tool, and I configured it and I got the xml file and downloaded the office deployment tool. Now, should I package this in Intune as an app with the Install and Uninstall PowerShell script along with the xml file and push it? How would I go about doing it. Also, I want to make sure that it is done overnight as I do not want it to uninstall, and user not have office. How can I go about it.

Can't guarantee if the app will be installed on all devices via Intune, as it depends on the policy cycle run on each device. Deploy Office using the Office Customization Tool, which has an option to uninstall any earlier versions. You can select options based on your requirements. Once you have the configuration file, try installing it on a few test devices to see if it works.
