I've just configured and sucessfully deployed Microsft Office 2019 by following Prajwal Desai's Deploy Office 2019 Using SCCM youtube video - thank you Prajwal. My question is how do I verify that the client will only get it's update from the configuration manager? I've checked the Config Mgr console / Software library / Office 365 Client Management / Office 365 updates and found no Updates for Office 2019. I've Software update Point Component Properties / Product, verified that Microsoft 365 Apps/office 2019/Office LTSC check box is ticked.
Here's the configuration.xml for the deployment of the Office 2019
I can see that the PIDKEY are ,GVLK, generic keys. Not sure on how it's contacting our KMS server though - another research. But, I'd like to be able to deploy Office 2019 updates through sccm and make sure that the clients do not get their office updates through online.
