Hi can anyone help?

I’ve upgraded SCCM to 1810 ready for Windows 10 deployment but since updating the ADK and boot images, my Windows 8.1 task sequence is failing.

I’m seeing the following in SMSTS.log (see pic), as well as ‘Program rejected (wrong platform),Requirements Not Met’ in deployment monitoring.

Is this because things aren’t backwards compatible? should I have kept an old version of boot images rather than upgrade them and/or kept 8.1 ADK installed? (can you have two ADKs installed?). Is there a way of me getting this working again, or have I screwed my 8.1 deployment? I really need to have both and know how to have them coexist.

Thanks

Paul

I think i have the correct ADK for the windows 10 version. The logs relate to win 8.1 deployment which is not failing since upgrading my ADK. The thing I'd like to know is whether they can coexist, or have I now broken my 8.1 deployment because I no longer have the 8.1 ADK?

Do you use MDT? you can have one TS with multiple OS Option. This way you only need to look after one TS with one boot image.
