We are trying to get rid of NTLM and trying to disable it across the board. I have noticed something when running OSD when trying to join domain. When NTLM is enabled the join domain works fine, but when ntlm is disabled join domain fails. I am no Kerberos expert but how do you get this step to use kerberos for authentication instead of NTLM or is there a way to do a pass-thru auth.
On side note I usually login after OSD is complete with a local admin account that is created during the tasks. When trying to rename the computer with NTLM turned off it errors. But if you log in with a domain account to do this all works great.
