PENDING Office 365 software updates not being made available on client

Hi all

First post here. Hopefully you'll be able to help with this one

ConfigMgr version: 1702
Console version: 5.00.8498.1700
Site version: 5.0.8498.1000

The SCCM server also functions as the site WSUS server

I have setup Office 365 client updates to be pushed out via SCCM. The software update point is working fine and im able to download, package and deploy the update.

However the update fails to appear in the Software center on the client.

Checking the UpdatesDeployment.log i see the following errors:
- Job error (0x87d00692) received for assignment ({D956C87E-11DB-46BA-92C2-6445A302DBBD})

- Updates will not be made available

It appears to be an issue at the client end but with my best Google-fu i haven't been able to find out anything more specifically on this error. Has anyone seen this before? Any insight would be much appreciated

Have you enabled the Office 365 Client Management in the .xml file during installation?

The other thing if you deployed it recently Microsoft has changed the channels name, have you included the channel in the .xml during the deployment?

This is the one I am still using

 <Updates Enabled="TRUE" Channel="Current"/>

Here is the new names of the channels, hope that would help ya. I am in the middle of distributing O365 in our organisation 500+ computers done almost 80 so far and updates are going fine with the settings I mentioned above.
