I know Office 2019 is click to run and what that means etc.
I'm under the impression you can run updates to Office 2019 through SCCM. There are references to it on the MS guides and in Office it says updates are admin controlled. I just figure out how to set it up.

My office xml is below, made using the O365 tool in SCCM

<Configuration> <Add OfficeClientEdition="64" Channel="PerpetualVL2019" OfficeMgmtCOM="TRUE" Version="16.0.10337.20021" ForceUpgrade="TRUE">
<Product ID="ProPlus2019Volume" PIDKEY="">
<Language ID="en-us" />
<ExcludeApp ID="Groove" />
<ExcludeApp ID="OneDrive" />
<ExcludeApp ID="Lync" /> </Product>
</Add> <Property Name="SharedComputerLicensing" Value="0" />
<Property Name="PinIconsToTaskbar" Value="TRUE" />
<Property Name="SCLCacheOverride" Value="0" />
<Property Name="AUTOACTIVATE" Value="1" /> <RemoveMSI All="TRUE" />
<Display Level="Full" AcceptEULA="TRUE" /> <Logging Level="Off" /></Configuration>

In SUP I have office 2019 ticked and Office 365 ticked. In the Office 365 updates I can see a perpetual update for office 2019 but 0 required.
Could it just be that updates haven't come out yet?
I'm on build 1810 still as I'm lazy :)

Have you already deployed the Office on some of the machines? Use one of the machines that have Office installed and run the Hardware inventory cycle, and then on SCCM console go to the Office 365 client management and run the sync then wait for a bit. I can't remember exactly how long is the wait but eventually it'll show required.

I can't get the update column to be accurate but I have got the update working. If I advertise the update to my little test group Office 2019 updates so it does work. Thanks for the help
