Hi All,

Hope someone can answer my questions, I have just been running through a test install on some VMs and noticed MCM 2303 is listed as being compatible with SQL Server 2022 - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/m...esign/configs/support-for-sql-server-versions

But when I ran the pre-req check after installing SQL server 2022 I ran into the issue of not having the SQL Server Native Client (SNAC), I found out that it has been removed from SQL server 2022 and server management studio 19, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/s...ql-server-native-client?view=sql-server-ver16

can I continue without the native client or is there something I am missing?

Hi All,

Thanks for your replies, apologies should have updated the thread. I had gone ahead I was just being overly cautious.

I can confirm after the SCCM installation the SQL Server 2012 Native Client was installed, its just no longer bundled in with SQL Server 2022, hence why I got the warning.

Everything seems to be working correctly with SQL 2022 / MCM 2303 on a fresh install in my test environment for anyone else panicking at the pre-req check.
