When trying to create task sequence media, I get the message: "The boot image is not currently available on the selected distribution point....."

I have SUCCESSFULLY created boot media in the past without incident. These problems started a couple months ago. I have upgraded SCCM as follows with the assistance of Microsoft support:

Version: 1706

Console: 5.00.8540.1600

Site Ver: 5.0.8540.1000

I have done all the following:

Successfully imported my drivers, created my new driver package and updated my distribution point.

I've added the drivers to the boot image (x64) and SUCCESSFULLY "Updated Distribution Points"

The Content status for the Boot Image (X64) content is "Success: 1"

I've waited two hours following the 'successful' distribution and am still getting the message indicated above when trying to create bootable task sequence media for the CORRECT "Boot Image (x64)"

I've refreshed my views and have repeated the process with the same end result.

Also, the timestamp does not mathch the successful update time. It shows an earlier timestamp that is not relevant to the successful distribution point update of the Boot Image.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi Dino Ingram,

Did you distributed your boot image without error ? (Verify in Monitoring > Distribution Status > Content Status)
Verify the source location of your boot image and check the permissions of these folders, can you access it?
