Hi,
First post.
Is it supported/advisable to install SCCM client on its on server and on DC's?
System Center Config Manager 1902 is not available as a product in Software Update point, products and classification to update the server itself.
This is a test environment. Server is SCCM 1902 running on Windows 2019 & SQL 2017 with WSUS role also on the same server.
Any advice much appreciated.
Matt

Hi,

If you want to manage your DC's and the site server, you have to install on them SCCM client.
There is no SCCM product in your SUP settings, the only way to update it is from the console>Administration>Updates & Servicing. SCCM Client will be used to make Windows and SQL Server up-to-date.

To use the above feature, you must install Service Connection Point.
