Hi Prajwal,

I would like to know is their a permanent solution for Task sequence failing for win7 to 10 upgrade as I have issues with many PC failing to upgrade even after bypassing driver, application compatibility check.......Mostly tasks sequence fail due to Display driver And Symantec Anti Virus Issue...

Hi,

Try to uninstall the Symantec Antivirus before launching the Task Sequence on a test Windows 7 machine.

You can check also the smsts.log log file located on the "%WINDIR%\CCM\Logs\SMSTS"

I uninstalled symantec and rolled back display Driver to VGA and I am able to successfully upgrade...but the issue is our environment has 11000 machines need to upgrade...so do we need to manually uninstall Symantec and roll back display drivers on all machines to be able to upgrade successfully....how is that possible....Don’t we have option which will bypass these compatibility test

You can add in the TS a task to uninstall Symantec and reinstall it after the upgrade.
I think the issue with the display driver is just for a specific model, check it then you can create a collection and install on it the compatible driver.
