SOLVED Failed to retrieve MP certificate authentication information over http

Hello,

Due to some issue with resource of SCCM Secondary server i had rebuild the server. and after that noticed that exiting client reporting that server are not getting scan and no more policy and task getting updated.

I can see below error in localtion services logs on the client systems.

Successfully sent location services HTTP failure message
Failed to retrieve MP certificate authentication information over http.

Any suggestion to get this fixed..

If you think it's a client issue, I would suggest you to start by removing the client, doing a WMI rebuild, and reinstalling the client. Let me know how it goes.

Hi Prajal,

I have tried with reinstalling the MP and with no error checked all logs ,however still the clients systems are not reporting back to secondary server.. also noticed whenever restarting the sms service on client can see below massage but client are not reporting back..

Just now i have noticed error in ccm messaging.log getting below error also checked connectivity is ok.. but client didn't reporting
