I seem to be running into an error that I cannot correct. Here is my setup:
  • Server 2022 - WSUS
  • Server 2022 - Configuration Manager / SQL (what is the best way to have to verify the most current version?)
I am attaching the log file (it repeats the errors) because I have looked and tried the fixes and nothing is correcting the error or clearing the issue. I do have the updates being downloaded on the WSUS however when I approve one of the patches it does not carry over to SCCM. I have the laptops loaded into SCCM however I can't get the agent to install on the units. I am at a complete block not sure what should be next, was asked if maybe the issue is with 2022 trying to use older versions. Any assistance is greatly appreciated, if needed I can flatten the SCCM server and rebuild, the WSUS seems to be pulling in the updates so that one should be OK.

Did you carry out this step manually, as requested in the install log?
SqlNativeClient is already installed (Product Code: {9D93D367-A2CC-4378-BD63-79EF3FE76C78}). But to support TLS1.2, a new version with Product Code: {B9274744-8BAE-4874-8E59-2610919CD419} needs to be manually installed

I think I was successful, not sure how to verify. Though I downloaded this file and when installing got the following error.2021-10-25_10-12-49.png
I verified that the SQL service was running. Is this an issue with the WSUS server or SCCM that I can adjust or change do you think?

Can I ask; If on Server 2022, then why SQL 2012? That's 10 years behind and I cannot imagine anyone has tested that very thoroughly...
I run SQL2019 on server 2019 with SCCM 2107 and have not had any update issues.

We run one primary server and two management points with DP role. 10K + clients.

I am running SQL 2019, the 2012 was not installed by me, it was a clean server. Not sure when it was added during the SQL install. It was never initially manually installed but showed up in the log as an error.
