PENDING Easiest way to uprgrade SCCM2012?

Hi everybody,

a colleague of mine is running SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 and they would like to upgrade to the newest version of configuration manager.

I can remember I had to upgrade from 2012 R2 SP2 to 1511 -> 1702 ->1802.. until the in-console updates became availabe for my enviroment.

Now to my question, can he upgrade to 1702 dircetly (after going to R2 SP2) or does he need to start with 1511 just like i did. And where can he find the suitable baseline media?

Thanks for the fast reply! So as I understand he can go dircetly to 1802 from 2012 R2 SP1?
