PENDING ConfigMgr 2503 does not offer the update/hotfix KB33177653 for installation

A completely freshly installed ConfigMgr 2503 does not offer the update/hotfix KB33177653 for update/installation. KB33177653 upgrades the client to version 5.0.9135.1006. On my freshly installed ConfigMgr 2503, the client is still at version 5.0.9135.1001. How can I force ConfigMgr to offer and install the update?
