Hey all,

So I am using a Windows 10 PC as a DP for current branch SCCM Deployment. I've set up hundreds of DPs with no issue. I've made sure the permissions are correct on the shares as well as added the site server as an admin on the DP. I have even gone as far as making the shares wide open permissions wise and adding the DP as an admin everywhere I could.

Basically I get the below error no matter what I do.

[1770][Thu 09/19/2019 09:38:42]:Failed to add file 'ccmsetup.cab' to content library. Error code: 0X8007000D

I've also attached the full log files.

Thanks!!!

That errors mean "Invalid Data", did you modify the log? Doesn't look like a standard smsdpprov.log

If that package successfuly updates content to other DP's then something about this particular one's configuration is preventing it.

Sam,

Thanks for the reply. I did not edit any of the log and I agree on it not being something I have seen before either.

I've seen the usual permission issues and what not but never something like this. It created the folder structure properly on the DP and permissions all look correct, even creates some temp files when it attempts to copy the file. But when it actually tries it cant.

Basically no folders are created in SCCMContentLib and all that shows up are temp giles under SMS_DP$

Just wondering because some people don't like to post logs from production environments due to all the network info in them. Thought you might of had a log scrubber...

The invalid data error makes me suspect the source rather than the target. Have you replicated this package out to another DP on the same site successfully?

I created another dp in the same subnet and it was able to replicate fine. I suspect it may be network related. The site I'm trying to push to is a remote location on an MPLS.
