Hi Guys.
we have 1 standalone primary site with 1 sql server and 1 sccm server running all needed roles - all works well.
we recently opened a remote branch office on a different continent and communication between sites over ipsec tunnel is very limited.
we have installed a server on the remote branch and made it a distribution point. the installtion went well and now we want to make this server also a SUP in order to prevent remote client getting their updates from our HQ server.
questions are:
1. we already have our HQ server running the sup role, we already have ADR's configured etc. if i just install install the sup role on the remote server, will it "replicate" all the adr's and updates to the branch office sup?
2. what if i want to use different settings on the branch office (different classifications, different products etc)? how do i configure that?
3. how will i be able to make sure that the remote client are getting their updates from the remote server and not from HQ?
