NEW Advice on deployments after deploying the software

Hi all,

I am hoping someone can advise please, I have numerous device collections with deployments of software against them. One collection I am using as a test collection to users machines it I.T department, once the software has been successfully deployed can I just delete the deployment as shown below, and if I can will the deployed software stay on the machine, thanks.

Looks like you can delete deployments out of collections with no issues, I have deleted deployments and software is still there.
