PENDING All client showing inactive in console after site upgrade from 1902 to 2309

We recently upgraded our site version from 1902 to 2309. After the upgradation completed successfully, all the clients are showing inactive. How can we make these clients online and upgrade the client version as well? Please suggest.

how long has it been since the upgrade? What troubleshooting have you done already?

Its been 2 weeks now. Client upgrade was set automatically to 1 day. I tried installing client on a single machine but it failed. Then while i googled the warning, I found the following blog and tried the steps as well but it didnt work.

You missed a big step, is your MP healthy? Have you looked at components health?
 
Well then did you fix it and give it more space?
its not fixed yet. Space is not the issue i guess (More than 100GB free space available). While checking mpcontrol and mpmsi logs, there is showing installation error : "Management Point fails to install with “ERROR: Cannot use SMS issued certificate for SSL role.”

Well now you know what the problem is you can fix that.
 
This is the error msg showing on my logs. Can you please suggest how to resolve this issue?
