Hi All,

I'm a newbie to SCCM and learning my way up to understand it.

Recently, the AD team has deleted a few computers that are obsolete. I can see those deleted devices are still reflected in SCCM. My client asks me why the deleted devices are still in SCCM
I checked the Delete Aged Discovery data under site maintenance was been enabled.
I know we can delete it manually / Automation with PowerShell but need to know why SCCM is not detecting/ discovering the changes.

BR,
Richard Rex

Sorry for the delay in response. Do you still see the issue?. Delete Aged Discovery Data and Delete Inactive Client Discovery Data site maintenance tasks are useful here.

Hi, Yes. This is how the environment is configured by the previous team. Can you recommend the changes with the settings here to see the results coming in?

PFA, the attached Screenshot.

I would not suggestion making changes to these setting, Instead just delete the computer for CM. Or better yet, create a PoSH script to deleted form CM and AD at the same time! in ~90 days those computers will be removed from CM.
