Hi,

I have a normal SCCM instance with a separate SQL box in Domain A. I'm trying to build another MP in Domain B where no trusts exist.

I was able to get the site to install using a service account within Domain B. However SCCM is complaining that the new Domain B MP/DP cannot connect to Domain A SQL instance. I've tried specifying the SQL connection account on the Management point in Domain B but still it complains.

compsumm.log says

Login Failed. The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows Authentication.

Tried so far
1) SQL team create a local SQL account in the Domain A SQL that is the same username as the Domain B service account that installed the site.
2) Ensured that "require the site server to initate connections to the site system' is ticked for the Domain B Site Server role.
3) SQL team created a local SQL account in Domain A SQL that is the same username as the Domain A service account that installed primary site.

I'm lost at what to try next. I believe it's possible to get going but I just don't know what to try next.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Further to this. I've removed all the roles and also remove the site from SCCM but still these errors are popping up in compsumm.log which makes no sense to me.
