As this is my first thread posting on a forum considering IT related stuff, I might lack some information. Please ask for more information if you need it to answer my question.
I'm a student, 20 years old and I can say that I'm really new into the IT-world.
I have knowledge about Windows Server 2012 R2, AD DS, WSUS, ...
At this moment I have a project where my customer is not happy with WSUS and wants me to look into SCCM 2012 R2.
I started following Prajwal Desai his guide and it has been really helpful so far.
My question so far is about WSUS. In the guide: http://prajwaldesai.com/installing-wsus-for-configuration-manager-2012-r2/ Prajwal mentions that WSUS 3.0 SP2 is required for configuration Manager 2012 R2.
- Do I need to download WSUS through server manager -> install features/roles provided in the guide?
- Do I need to install WSUS 3.0 SP2 via the link provided in the guide? (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5216)
